Send method of XMLHTTPOBJ

Hi All,

Is there any way to check the return value of the
send() method of the XMLHTTP object?
I'm facing a problem wherein, the Send method does not return if the IIS server goes down.
Is there anyway to determine this?

Please help, this is urgent.
