InterDev custom templates: replaceable parameters not working - help please

I'm trying to recreate the Orders custom template example from the whitepaper "Creating Your Own Visual InterDev 6.0 Templates"
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnvid/html/msdn_vidtemplate.asp?frame=true) and am getting an error.

I am getting an error:

Microsoft Development Evironment: The parameter is incorrect.

Any thoughts? I'm getting desparate.
