OASIS OData TC Standard Receives an Enormous Boost from the Software Titans

Such software titans as Citrix, Microsoft, Progress Software, IBM, SAP and others have come together this week in order to continue the production of the OASIS standards for OData specifications.  Designed with existing standards including HTTP, JSON, AtomPub, and XML, OData is a web protocol for unlocking and sharing data. This concept will tear down silos that exist in some software applications today and continue to expand the building of cross-platform Web and Mobile Application development.
