Microsoft Unveils the Much Awaited Xbox One Self-Publishing Plan

Microsoft’s statement today confirms that even the retail Xbox One consoles will come built with the ability to function as a developer kit. Microsoft’s new option for their console is reminiscent of Apple's long standing ability of their iOS devices, thus eliminating the need for small developers the need to lay large sums of cash for more expensive developer-specific systems.
