Microsoft Releases the VSE 2012 Toolkit for Developing Windows 8 Desktop Apps

This past spring brought much controversy and developer outcry over announcement that Microsoft had made the decision not to offer an Express 2012 edition for Windows Desktop, and now Microsoft has released their Visual Studio Express 2012 ToolKit for Windows Desktops. This is the free version of the development toolkit for writing Windows 8 desktop apps and was made available for download on September 12, 2012. Read the full story here.
