Microsoft Moves Towards the end of Messenger

Microsoft is scheduled to begin the worldwide migration of the desktop version of Microsoft Messenger to Skype. Beginning with the English-speaking countries and working around to the Portuguese speaking countries with the entire process scheduled to completed by April 30 or about. No word yet on when Microsoft plans to retire Messenger on mobile, Windows 8 or Windows RT. Read the full story.
