Microsoft Launching Surface 2 with LTE on AT&T Tuesday

The Surface 2 LTE will be available for purchase in the US via the Microsoft online store and brick-and-mortar locations, as well as from Best Buy. The device will ship unlocked, and users must activate the LTE capability by signing up for an AT&T data plan or associating it with an existing AT&T plan. The 64 GB Surface 2 LTE will retail for $679 without the optional keyboard cover, which can cost an additional $80 to $200 depending on the type.
