DBmaestro Releases Teamwork V 3.7 with Oracle SQL Developer Extension

DBmaestro (www.DBmaestro.com), the pioneer and leading provider of DevOps for Database solutions, has announced the release of DBmaestro Teamwork V 3.7 with Oracle SQL Developer Extension. V 3.7's new features allow developers and DBAs to manage changes and view the history of changes within the same Oracle IDE they use to modify and develop the database. In addition, version 3.7 allows more automation and robustness of the system to support DevOps for Database by enforcing a single change process throughout the database development process. DBmaestro Teamwork extension for Oracle SQL Developer was developed in cooperation with Oracle by providing API and feedback on the integration and usability.

DBmaestro TeamWorks' new version addresses one of the main challenges of DevOps for Databases by enhancing the level of confidence and control over continuous processes i.e. automated builds, automated deployments within the development environments and automated deployment to production. Automation for the database has its own challenges, especially with handling conflicts. DBmaestro Teamwork allows organizations to feel confident in their database development process by enforcing change management capabilities.

"The new version of DBmaestro Teamwork integrates DevOps into the database lifecycle”, said Yaniv Yehuda, CTO & Co-CEO of DBmaestro. “In today’s continuous deployment environment, developers must take control of their database in order to prevent disaster. DBmaestro Teamwork allows DevOps for database to follow the proven best practices of change management. DBmaestro empowers collaboration between the development and operation teams, saves time and money, and mitigates the risks of the deployment process”.

DBmaestro Teamwork covers all the best practices for Database Enforced Change Managements (DECM) thus reducing the deployment timeframe of database projects from weeks to days and freeing up expensive technical resources from mundane and time consuming tasks. DBmaestro Teamwork guarantees integrity, quality, compliance and confidence in the database code.
