Microsoft Kinect SDK Joined By An Alternative, Evoluce Kinect SDK

This week Evoluce announced that is has produced its own software developers kit (SDK) for Microsoft's Kinect. Currently the Evoluce Kinect SDK is available for download at no cost, and a commercial version will be released eventually as well.

Using Evoluce SDK for Kinect and Windows 7, developers can create non-commercial apps that provide a natural user experience, with depth sensing, motion tracking and more. Documentation is included with the Evoluce SDK, along with sample applications, drivers and rich APIs, and it supports development using C++, C# and Microsoft Visual Studio.
