Xbox Interface Update Will Be the Largest Xbox Update So Far

Developers and consumers are excited about an upcoming Xbox 360 user interface (UI) update this fall. According to Microsoft, it will be similar to the Metro UI that can be seen on Windows 8 and the Windows 7 phone.

Albert Penello, Microsoft’s director of platform marketing, added that the update will be big, "if not bigger" than the last large Xbox UI update. The main areas of improvement are "performance, consistent and easy navigation [and] ubiquitous search and voice."
