Microsoft to Replace the Toolbar with a Ribbon in Windows 8

Clearly the most noticeable change to the new version of Windows will be the Ribbon interface. And since the Ribbon UI is not in a completed state it's difficult to say how successful the change to the new OS will be but its one of many new visuals expected to be in the final version.
