Windows Phone 7 Sales Begin to Slump

With cryptic information coming from Microsoft on the sales of the fledgling OS, its a matter of guess work to figure out what the sales are. Based on the numbers available Microsoft sold 1.5 million Windows Phones from October to the beginning of December leaving the remaining sales at 500,000 devices for the month. That number compared to Android sales at 300,000 per day makes for a very difficult follow up month for Microsoft.

With sales through December for Windows Phone 7 coming in at 2 million shipped, what constitutes a good follow-up month?
