COBOL to Move Into the Microsoft Azure Cloud

Micro Focus has announced that their COBOL development tool will now have the ability of executing applications in the Windows Azure Cloud platform. COBOL programming has been around forever with some 220 billion lines of COBOL code still active in the business world. Visual COBOL R3 by Micro Focus will offer the language a new youth by adapting Windows Azure.
