Windows Phone 7, developers fear flop

Developers are beginning to complain that Microsoft isn't providing Windows Phone 7 app developers with the key analytics to guide them on how many titles they've actually sold or which applications are selling well. For obvious reasons this is giving WP7 developers angst and fear over what tools to invest in or which direction to go. This compiled by the apparent flop with consumers, what is a developer to do?
