And is now living in the past. Microsoft has a lot riding on their new technologies such as Silverlight, Windows Phone 7, Bing, Kinect and other consumer based technologies grabbing a strong hold. As Apple prepares to dwarf over-all company sales in 2010, Microsoft is at a cross-roads in deciding if they will go by the way of IBM and become crucially important to businesses but offer only an afterthought for the consumer market.
