Microsoft Windows Automotive 7 will provide a better user interfaces, a wider range of in-car applications and a much improved voice control system. The new platform will also provide support for Microsoft Silverlight for Windows Embedded. Windows Automotive 7 will primary be used to create fancy GUIs for the on-board infotainment systems.
