Microsoft Windows Phone 7, another stab at the smartphone industry

Microsoft has made many attempts at the mobile market. With such products as the WinPad, Windows Mobile and the Win CE OS's, their efforts have just not paid off. And while Microsoft has been able to grab a small market share, they still cannot compete with the major players like RIM, Apple or even Google. So what makes Windows Phone 7 so special?
