Microsoft security exec overflows over to Amazon

Stathakopoulos that managed Microsoft's various security programs, which are collectively known as Trustworthy Computing, has left his employer for 19 years for Amazon

Security is increasingly important to Amazon as they are developing its Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Web-based computing infrastructure. EC2 gives anyone access to Amazon computing resources, and security experts worry that it could be misused by criminals or hacked.

Trustworthy Computing security program general manager, George Stathakopoulos, has left for a new role at Amazon.
