Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage Suit Dismissed

The judge dismissed the case with prejudice, leaving each party to pay its own lawyer fees. Microsoft was pleased that the case was resolved successfully, but didn't say whether it agreed to any settlement
The ever changing WGA has caused a lot of problems labeling users as having illegitimate software, or were told via the WGA system that they had pirated copies of their software.
A judge dismissed a lawsuit that was filed in 2006 against Microsoft over its Windows Genuine Advantage program
