Both companies will benefit greatly from this relationship. The ability to develop applications for Intuit's customers will open a new possibility of sales prospects for Microsoft.
Microsoft provides tools and a cloud platform for Intuit's developer community, that will boost developer productivity.
Microsoft and Intuit plan to integrate the Intuit Partner Platform and Windows Azure Platform.
