Where is Office?

On Monday 11 January, 2010, many a folk received the following message: "This product is currently unavailable while we update versions on our site. We expect it to be available soon.", when attemting to buy various versions of Microsoft Office form Microsoft’s online store.

The disappearance of Office was related to the injunction that came out of the patent infringement case the Microsoft lost against Canadian company I4i, concerning XML patents.

Disounted Office 2007 products were still, however, available on the injunction date, form other retailers such as Newegg.com and Amazon.com.
