Apple to Receive Real Competition from Microsoft with Their Own Windows 8 Tablet

Microsoft is scheduled to announce plans to develop their own, in-house designed tablet device as early as next week. Microsoft typically leaves the hardware announcement to the hardware makers however they appear to be taking a page right out of Apple’s playbook by designing and building their own hardware and software for the same device.
