Vista a Distant Bad Memory for Microsoft

Windows Vista is a bit of a thorn in Microsoft’s side–but Windows 8 is a totally different animal than Vista. Microsoft has taken some lessons from Apple, as well as learned some lessons from its Vista mistakes, and its upcoming operating system, Windows 8 and accompanying Metro UI, reflects those improvements.


In today’s computing world, everything is smaller, faster, thinner, smarter and mobile. Microsoft Windows 8 will reflect that. Looking like the operating system of the future, Microsoft has even included holographic technology in the OS. It may be a conceptual interpretation of the future, but at least this upcoming OS is looking in that direction.
