Developers eager to get a glimpse at the latest iteration of Internet Explorer will be happy to hear that Microsoft has released IE10 Preview Platform 2 for download. This preview release enables developers to begin testing out the new features of IE so they are ready when the release becomes public.
This release of IE10 utilizes the same HTML5 engine that has been shown in recent demonstrations of the upcoming Windows 8 OS. Additional support for HTML5 and improved performance are key to this release, along with parsing improvements from the W3C that allow all compliant browsers to work essentially the same way.
