First of all thanks for the great help. The console program that am using is depending on some dlls, So, I also do have to upload these dlls on system32 folder of the remote machine, can I achive this using xCmd.
I tried to start remote application with GUI by modifying the code (added flag SERVICE_INTERACTIVE_PROCESS in the 5th parameter of function CreateService as was suggested in the previous comments) but its still not working. Infact the application gave error saying Connection to remote service........failed.
Also my requirement is just to invoke a Remote Application.
Can this be done without loading and running xCmdSvc on the Remote Machine.
I have used your powerful program which can execute the applications on remote computer. However, after running xCmd application from Dos prompt in local computer, the application that I want to execute in remote computer doesn't pop up but I discovered that it has already load on the memory location on remote computer. Could you tell me how's it work , may be I did something wrong during the process. I am currently using Windows 2000 at administrator user for both computer.
Thankyou for an excellent tool and a view into a powerful method for remote access.
I noticed that the remote application does not have access to network connections (NT Domain) that the user normally has when they are logged into that machine. I am looking at implementing this method and am wondering if it possible to login to the doamin before running the app?
Also would I have this if I had a peer-to-peer workgroup setup instead? Thanks
I have seen your project and it is working good. But the restriction is the user must be an administrator. Can you change this restriction to all users.
I am doing a project to invoke a network machine's processor from the server and the resulted file may be come to the server.Canyou help this for my project.I hope that you can do it and i am expecting your guidance.
Maybe it is too complex, but I'm sure it is real to hook console functions. This would be great advance for this tool. Lots of console utilites uses that functions to query passwords or prettyprinting.
