Sending WM_CLOSE to the items causes errors later as AIM tries to get ahold of the window--it is unable to because I have closed them, and thus causes an error.
If anybody could help, that would be great. Thanks!

This code will turn the start button grey and clicking on it is ignored. Unfortunately the keyboard shortcuts still trigger it.
