Dear Ramakrishna,
Really it is one of the very good article i have ever read about threading model. Like what cyril said, i haven't get a clear picture about the "apartments" and "hotels" even after reading lots heavy weighted books in this area of COM. You have explained the complicated things in very easy way. It will be useful for the programmer to understand and start coding , instead of using only for interviews..:))) ( like what the heavy metal books do...!)
Thanks a lot...please keep posting your article regularly...

I read lots and lots of 'blurb' books etc and they often fail to explain things. Apartment threading was one such thing.
This article is greate and explained it in a lovely way.
Many many thanks for this.
Needless to say more stuff like this would always be welcome. If you wrote stuff like this and offered it for download I would buy it !
(Why go to all the expense of publishing).
I certainly value your time and effort in producing this article.

This was a very good article for even a beginner like me. I've started working in COM just few days back and am in the process of learning COM, particularly using ATL.
I would like to get some more info and insight on Threading and Synchronisation stuff in COM through your valued articles.
Expecting more like this in the near future,
Vasu.
