Sun's Proximity Communications - Removing Wires In your CPU
Wireless communication at the speed of light between a computer's processor and its memory. That is interesting! It has the potential to speed up computers by avoiding the time cost to send information through the copper wires used today. Additionally, it avoids road blocks related to lots of cores trying to access the memory through a limited bus. This is exactly what Sun Microsystems is working to create.

I was also supposed to talk on some of the stuff coming in Visual Studio "2010." It is interesting to note that although I had twenty minutes that could be stretched to thirty, the same topics were quickly overviewed at the Microsoft PDC over the course of more than five hours.
